Hey im new to this site, but was wondering if you could run my vin for the v06 service campaign (head gasket) 92 4 runner vin#JT3VN39W7N8035471. Is this still in effect. Will toyota still honor this? Thank you. You can email me at wannaride2@comcast.net. Thanks again

Glad to meet you! Our 95 4rnr has been with us since 97 when it had 60K miles. Really love it! Now it has 214K, runs great, have always maintained it, uses no oil between changes, but now has a blown head gasket, I suppose. White smoke. Just what I've been reading.
VIN # JT3VN29V0S0068145 Will Toyota fix it? No way I can justify fixing it otherwise. I was hoping to be one of those owners with the mileage written on the back window. Especially if I could have made it to 250K! We have had it for 12 years! Thanks for your help

I think they are all poly, just a matter of price. I think mine are also the TC. I got them from Wheelers (I think). The center one is harder to install on a 4x4 but can be done at home, you just need to get the front wheels off the ground, which makes it alot easier

WOLVES :

America's wolves were nearly eradicated in the 20th century. Now, after a remarkable recovery in parts of the country, wolves are once more threatened.
  • In the Northern Rockies… the federal government has put forth a proposal that could lead to the slaughter of hundreds of wolves in Idaho and Wyoming. Even Yellowstone wolves could be shot on site if they wander outside the park's boundaries!
  • In Alaska… state officials continue to allow airborne gunners to kill hundreds
