tundra or dmax

thanks, I don't tow much weight, usually under 6000lbs. I think the Tundra would probably out tow my 96 dodge 3/4. Certainly has more power than the V-10 gaser. The only reason I wanted the dmax was fuel economy and performance. Gas mileage is all over the board, but from what I can tell on empty highway people are getting 15-17mpgs so if diesel gets more expensive than gas again I think I'd break even with the Tundra. And that's assuming 20mpg on the dmax. I was wondering about the differences in ride quality. Sounds like you like the ride of the Tundra better. thanks

I loved my Duramaxs but the Tundra fits me better. If you don't tow regularly, I'd say go for the Tundra, it rides better, is faster, cheaper to buy, insure, register and fuel. It's all about what fits you best though, test drive them and see what fits you best, they're both great trucks and you can't really go wrong either way.
