I like your navigation unit. I have been debating on it...pricey. How difficult was it to install? Looks like it fit in the factory hole? Can you still play CD's? Did you have to drill any new holes?

    thanks dude!!

Sorry to message you directly, but you seem to know quite a bit about navi systems etc.
I have an 06 ltd with factory installed navi which I believe is the 4th gen system. I have read some post re: 5 gen software for the 4 gen navi system, yet my dealer says catagorically that the 5 gen will not work on 4 gen system. What is the real answer? It makes sense that one would be able to clear the navi remove the disks add the new 5 gen disks and allow the system to reboot with the new disks and be able to get 5 gen features ie system operation when moving and new maps etc. At the same time why would my dealer not want to sell me a $275.00 disk????? can you set the record straight?

    Hey Erik

I see that you have the two chrome strips on the grille of your TUNDRA. There is a third chrome strip that goes onto the top of the bumper. You have covered the whole bumper with LINE X, which is really cool.

What did you do with that third chrome strip ?? If you still have it somewhere, I want to buy it from you. I added the 2 chrome strips to my grille but I cannt find any bumper chrome strip anywhere.
