The only one button I had any issue with was the hazard switch but its not to bad and its not like I use that one to often. Which buttons are you having issues with since the rest don't rub against any of the wrapped parts at all for me.

Hey, about skinning your dash. How did you solve the problem of the buttons sticking in the openings. I had contemplated doing this mod for a while, but when I saw yours I really liked how it turned out. I am working on mine as I type.

Oh forgot to answer your question about milage and speed being off. Yess mine off but there is a company that makes a box you can install between the rear dash brain and wire harness that fixes this issue, I just have not got around to getting it. I am sure if you search for it you find more information on it.

Thanks for the compliement on the truck.. You love the Blue Streak color I get compliments on it all the time. As for your tire fitment question you probably have not issues with 33 and with smaller 35 in the size of 34.XX you will be fine except some bending of the skid plate and maybe front flap and rear mud flaps neededing to be removed. A few bolts and they pop right off. There been many of folks running the 34.XX and a new 20X9 wheel no problem with the 3/1 lift. I just not 100% sure about how much more problems that using the stock wheels will do since they are only 8" wide but I do know you can do a 33 on the stock wheel no problems.

Well good luck on your choices and be sure to post up pics on what ever route you take.

Hey I love your truck! I have a blue streak Dbl Cab and love the idea of getting rid of the chrome (if its gonna shine, I like the gunmetal better) with your 3" lift, you seem to have had only slight problems getting the tires to fit (rubbing seemed minor except the possible metal welding changes on the big 35" tires). Do you think 33" tires would pose any problem on the stock 20" wheels or even a small 35" (34.5 or so)? Also, how badly does all of that screw up your speedometer or anything related to that? Thanks for any help you can provide to a newbie!

    Hey,
The backflips doing well now that its been replaced once but you probably saw my post about it in my thread. I got to say I am happy I went with this over a hard cover or tonna cover since I like the hard feel but like to be able to open it more to haul larger items now and then. As for the pictures your seeing yet the rubber flattens out a little but it still is higher than the rails but its not noticable from the side of the truck at all.

    Hello WT,

Was looking at your backflip, Hows it holding up? Pro's, con's? I like the way it lays flat but in the pic's theres rubber on the edges, did that flaten out? By the way, I lives in Chesapeake for 35 years
