I'll send the pics soon. I've been really busy moving. I haven't been online much myself either.
My name is Ed Madrid and I'll email you soon at your hotmail address.

I want to use a winch setup off of my receiver, where the winch is removable so I was thinking of a hitch mount in the front (it's handy for moving trailers around too).
Front- It looks like your bumpers stick out about 3" farther than the grill. I was thinking 4-5" would give a little more crush room and it would also act as a good step. Maybe 1" wider on each side to act like a brush guard. I'd like D-rings, driving light holes and the front hitch mount.
Rear- I think I'd want it to stick out rearwards a little more, a larger stepping area. No drop. Also with D-rings and holes for driving lights.
I want to send you a picture of an Xterra winch bumper I found that I like.
Any thoughts now that you've had yours for a while? Would you do anything different?
I might have to buy one of your racks later too!!!
What size tires are you running, 31" or 33"?
Whats your name and can I email you some pic's to your regular email?
    thanks,
    Ed-

The sensor that connects to the origional plastic bumper can be put back on the new one. it senses the shock from the accident so it would still work if you mount it in the correct place. i can make the bumpers bigger. For the front, you want a plate for a winch and the hole for the wire to stick out through the rollers. Same look or something different? you said you want them to drop down lower? My back bumper sits just about as high as the bottom of the fenders. what your sayin is that you want them to hang lower.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I was out of town for the weekend. Ok, back to business. Since you're using the o.g. cross member, do the airbags still work? I like yours the way the are but I think I'd like both of them to stick out forward a little more and the rear bumper to drop down a little lower, front with the hitch mount. I live in La Crescenta, California-91214. I wouldn't mind taking a drive up there to pick them up!

I am serious about the bumpers. The only thing that I'd want different would be a front receiver mount for a winch setup. What would you charge for a front bumper? rear? and how long would it take to put it together?

    Love your truck!
I'm new to this group and like you, I have an '03 v8 SR5. I was checking out your pictures "North Idaho Livin" and saw your bumpers. Did you make them? do you sell them? where can I get one? both front and rear.
    thanks,
