Default Anyone up for another Virginia meet?

Anyone up for another Virginia meet? I hosted one in May of last year, but it was really a piss-poor turnout for the Tundras. We had like 4 or 5 Tacomas but only myself and jim56wagon were the only big trucks.

I'd be willing to host it again, but I want some reasonable assurance that we will have some kind of decent turnout.

Well, since there hasn't been any response, I guess there is not much interest.

Unless I can get some assurance that people are going to show up this time, I'm not going to set it up.

Last time, we listened to Gadget (of Underdog Racing) give a good talk on Supercharging, then we toured one of the local Civil War battlefields, then ate lunch. After that, we stayed in the parking lot and swapped truck stories while Gadget took each of us for a ride in his supercharged Tacoma X-runner. The Oh $hit handle in that thing got a lot of use that day.

Well, that seems to be the problem in the past. If everyone who said "I would attend if I thought there would be a good turnout." would attend, there would probably be a good turnout.

I usually have nothing better to do on the weekends that I am off. I do work two weekends a month for a couple hours, so that may be a slight hinderance.

I am interested though.

OK. Last call.

Who is up for a 1-day get-together? I'm willing to host it if I can get a guarantee for a decent turnout.

Last time I tried it, we had two Tundras show up including mine. If if wasn't for some guys from customtacos.com, it would have been dismal.

I will set a date for August 18th. Please let me know if you will attend. No "maybe's."
