This is a discussion thread titled "Anyone up for another Virginia meet?", within the Mid-Atlantic forum, part of the News and Events category.
Anyone up for another Virginia meet? I hosted one in May of last year, but it was really a piss-poor turnout for the Tundras. We had like 4 or 5 Tacomas but only myself and jim56wagon were the only big trucks.
I'd be willing to host it again, but I want some reasonable assurance that we will have some kind of decent turnout.
All a man really needs for happiness in this world is a good woman, a faithful dog, and a big-a$$ed set of tires on his truck.

Well, since there hasn't been any response, I guess there is not much interest.

Last time, we listened to Gadget (of Underdog Racing) give a good talk on Supercharging, then we toured one of the local Civil War battlefields, then ate lunch. After that, we stayed in the parking lot and swapped truck stories while Gadget took each of us for a ride in his supercharged Tacoma X-runner. The Oh $hit handle in that thing got a lot of use that day.

I could be pursuaded to head down from DC for a good gathering.
Well, that seems to be the problem in the past. If everyone who said "I would attend if I thought there would be a good turnout." would attend, there would probably be a good turnout.

I usually have nothing better to do on the weekends that I am off. I do work two weekends a month for a couple hours, so that may be a slight hinderance.
I am interested though.
