Default Amish Hats

Here's one for you Pennsylvanians.

Where can I get on of those wide-brimmed straw hats like the Amish men wear? I'm looking for the real thing; not some Chinese-made knock-off they sell to the tourists in Lancaster.

Thanks.

I grew up just outside "Intercourse, PA". They sell them at many of the local stores. I'm in Baltimore now. Otherwise I'd send you one.

Right! That's not far from Blue Ball, Paradise, Mount Joy, and Bird-in-Hand*, isn't it?

A few years ago, the Mrs. and I were on a day trip to Lancaster county. She was in the Ladies Room, when this one sweet little old Amish lady working as the attendent asks her "So, how do you like Intercourse?" They probably ask the tourists that a lot just to see their reaction.

Instead of saying "Wow, I think it's great!" or "Eh, it's OK" and looking really stupid, she thought fast and said "It's a nice little town."

*actual Pennsylvania towns.

I don't s'pose any of these local stores have websites where I can order one, do they? Or it that a little to progressive for Amish folk?
