They have some pretty lenient rules when it comes to tailgating. My friends rented a generator, a U-Haul, and a Kegerator. Brought 6 couches, a big gas grill, and a 50' wide screen TV to the stadium lot. And they tailgated from sunrise to kick-off. (at a 4pm game)

Couches are for wimps. Real WVU partiers torch Police Cars (don't laugh; it's happened). When I was growing up in Morgantown, getting arrested was considered a badge of honor.

Back in the late 1930s, one of the fraternities put on a big party where all the frat brothers dressed up as Adolph Hitler, and their dates like Eva Braun. (They were lampooning and poking fun at Hitler; they were not sympathizers. Sort of like if we were to make fun of Osama bin Laden today.)

Well, the event was such a blowout, that it got very unflattering write-ups in German newspapers and magazines and condemned the "disrespectful" students for offending der Furher.

Partying at WVU has a long legacy.
