Default Best truck shops in Norfolk areas?

Howdy, folks. New here to the forum and relatively new to the area. Looking for some of the best truck shops around here. Found a page with all the different places around here( Truck Accessories in Virginia Beach, VA ), but that's a whole lot of driving with a whole slew of uncertainty. Looking for good prices on just about everything you can imagine. Lift kits, rims, tires, grilles, lighting, etc. I'd really like to find a shop that does the good weld-on brush guards, not these flimsy bull guards or bolt-on deals. Had a bunch of them back in Texas, but not so much here. Well, any help would be greatly appreciated and it's good to find a community of Tundra lovers out there. Thanks!

Hi-Dust on Va. Beach Blvd. gave me a pretty good package deal on a lift, tires and wheels. I provided the 3" Toytec and they installed it, aligned, and fitted new tires and wheels... ~$2K.

Hi Dust is pretty good. They put in my 3" toytec for $250 including alignment. Plus they thanked me for being in the military.

ETA is way over priced and the girl I talked to their acted like she was too busy for me.

Never tried Production or Pungo. Pungo can't be bad because you see their stickers on every lifted truck, jeep, and van in Hampton Roads.

HI Dust did ok by me, their alignment is off though, I had it put in recently and seeing some wear on outer edge of tires, gonna take it to portsmouth alignment to get that fixed.

I'm in on the Tundra meeting and I had my TGC 2.25" installed for $150 at Production and they where professional, kind and curteous. Even got me a discount at Tread Quarters on an alignment at corner of VA Bch Blvd and Great Neck Rd. Heck Production even threw in the winder sticker how great is that? See you at the meeting.

Default Re: Best truck shops in Norfolk areas?

What's up fellas.

Good places to go for random truck accessories?
almost any tire shop can order you vent visors and a bed tonneau cover etc.

Specialty shops for lifts and more technical stuff?
VA Beach has tons of them.
If you want a trendy window sticker, head over to Team Hi-Dust 4x4 on Newtown Rd. I don't know who is actually on a team there. I bought some Rancho shocks from them about 10 years ago for my '87 yota p'up and they treated me like sht. Probably because I wasn't giving them $1500 for a lift, and I was doing the install myself.

Otherwise, skip the stickers and go to Production Offroad on VA Beach Blvd., near First Colonial Rd. They're a smaller shop but will treat you right, no BS salesman crap. They hooked up my Tundra. I'd recommend them to my friends.

Eastern Off-road has just about everything under the sun and a long history in VB, but from what I've heard they are the highest priced off-road shop in VB also. They're on Newtown Rd. near Hi-Dust I believe.

Pungo Off-road, makers of ridiculously high trucks, and oversized window stickers as well, they are relatively priced in the average range. They gave me a desent quote on my setup. I think they're off of Princess Anne Rd. in Pungo of course.

Welcome to the East Coast fender3006.
