I was going to suggest that we all meet up at the Navy's Chili Cook-off and Car Show at Oceana on Oct. 11, but went into the hospital last Saturday instead, and don't know if I could make it now.
I had planned to enter my truck (30 catagories), and got hit with two kidney stones, one on each side that have reduced the flow of fluids out of each kidney, I'm hurting! Have to see a Urologist Doc and see what he wants me to do.
I'm up and doing things and maybe I could make this, but I don't have the energy to detail my truck out for a show. It is however, clean enough for a meet.

Thanks Josh, I just got to feeling better, had five stones, two left, and three right. Had two double-J stints in for a month, and another stint for Dec. I NEVER WANT THIS AGAIN!
We've missed several real good opportunities for a TS Meet here at the last part of '08.
1. Starting with Fleet week in September. They had a car show open to anyone who wanted to register and had 30 categories for entry. Don't have to enter, just join up and look at everything else.
2. The Virginia Peninsula Car Club Council in association with the City of Newport News invited you to attend the 6th Annual Virginia Fall Classic, October 24 - 26, 2008. Don't have to enter, just join up and look at everything else.
3. A meet anywhere where we could wagon-train through some of the drive-thru Christmas displays as a group.
I wish my health had been better, as I was wanting to enter each of these shows. I think it'd be great to get a bunch of us together with our Tundras at any of these events.
Now that I'm better, I'll keep my eyes open for events such as these in '09 and maybe we can get our sh!t together and go as a goup.
