Lightbulb 757-VA Meetings

I am sure that people have tried before to hold Toy meets and coming from the import scene i know it can alot of times be difficult and hard to organize one. But i will offer up this. I am from Smithfield, VA but i now live off Newtown Rd., on the Norfolk side. If ANYONE is interested in meeting up regularly on saturday nights I will be more then happy to assist in getting it together. I am going to post this and wait for at least 10-15 people confirming their interested in a weekly gathering somewhere local(I'm thinking of a place off Military hwy), before i start taking my saturdays off to attempt at making this happen.

If your interested people reply back on this thread, and if you wouldn't mind shoot me a email at mcalistm@ddg75.navy.mil.

I'm down, but I was thinking like sunday's at Hooters for All You Can Eat Wings for 10.99... Me and a few guys at work use to do this but everyone has trickled out. For the price, you can't beat wings and... well... wings? But I am down with whatever!

Why don't we just go to North Caroline... HAHA just playin. That's like an hour away and I would STILL be up for going. That's how bad I miss BDubbs... Used to go on Thursdays for $.50 boneless wings and drink a few. Whatever happens, I have't been to BDubbs since football season (October or so).

Alright so Screening what has been posted so far i will say Saturday Nights at 7 pm(early enought that if it is a bummer i can leave out and head to the club, but just in time that if all is good we can all head to the club LOL) at ???????.

Lets get a vote going for this: I was thinking we post up at a shop if they are willing to invite us: Say Production offroad? or Pungo? if you guys are interested in that i will make quick with the ground work to talk with them and get to know them. If not. then we can take up a parking lot, maybe even someone's favor spot to get a little dirty. who knows. I live off Newtown Road. So i am really like 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Downtown Norfolk. For your Norva folks! if you would rather catch up in like Newsport News this can be done. I used to gather for street races(not to give anything positive about street racing) around Patrick Henry Mall, that is right off the interstate and a bit closer for you Norva fellas! Give me your ideas guys/gals and with a few more people's names on the list i will set it up. Thanks for the replies! email me or PM if you have any concerns or issues.

Well, being a NoVa guy, obviously I'd vote for somthing close to me as possible. But If I'm coming that far, hell, a few extra miles won't matter.

If you put more than 3 trucks in Production's lot it'll be very full. They always have near to nothing for parking there. Pungo, dunno, never went there after they gave me such an expensive quote.

I vote the mall lot if the offroad shops wont let us use their lot after they close.

Saturday I work until 6pm, so I'm good with 7oclock.
