Exclamation 757 Off Road Shop Customer Service, and Personal Reviews

Ok Fellas I went to Production Offroad(Pro), Pungo Offroad(Pun), and Hi Dust(Hi), and i asked them all the same question:

Question 1:

"I am looking for the Toytec 3" lift with a 1" Diff Drop."

Pro: "i can't find their website. but if you order it, i will install(just install no alignment) for $175."
Pun: "I don't carry Toytec, but if you bring it by i will install for $250."
Hi: "I don't carry Toytec, but i can offer you SSR 3" front lift with 1" diff drop, and 1"-1 1/2" rear blocks for installed and aligned for $660."

Ok. So Toytec's site offers $299.99 for the kit and $20 dollars shipping.

So Labor costs will be equated by the following method. (320.00 - Offered Price.)

Pro: $175 without a alignment.
Pun: $250 without a alignment.
Hi: $340 without a alignment.

CRAPPY!!! all the way across the board. HORRIBLE!!!!!

I am a TRUE D.I.Y'ER
i refuse to pay for CRAP labor costs!!!

Question Two:

I see you offer(rhino, linex,???) brand Spray in liner, what is a quote for a reg bed 07 Tundra.

Pro: $450 with over the rail. - Rhino Liners
Pun: $450 with over the rail. - Some off brand crap.
Hi: $545 with over the rail. - Line-x(a.k.a. take it yourself to line-x of VB and get it for $430.)

I can't fight the good fight on this, so what do i go with Rhino or Line-x????
(darn the equipment that i don't have!!!)

Ok fellas the big question i asked!(Question 3)

I with a bunch of fellow modders from a site called TundraSolutions.com, And i am trying to establish a weekly truck meet, who do i talk to and would you be interested and letting us use your place?

Pro: Just call up and talk to the big man, that is something he might be interested in.
Pun: No Answer (Stubborn Redneck, and Big 3 Supporters)
Hi: (Didn't ask.)

Over three hours of B/s traffic and time wasted i would consider Production Off-road as the better of the three places to get work, and In general the better people personality wise and common sense wise.

Gimme me some Rep on this and Gimme me some Comments: I AM WATCH YOU!!!

I hope this helps and if the Moderators wish to Edit me please do! I know you rather edit then Comment LOL - Just kidding guys!

But, seriously let me know!

Mike

I found the EXACT results as you. Except I factored in Eastern Off-Road also. You can put them ontop of Hi-dust for most expensive.

PRO was my choice for my install. THey put my coilovers on, mounted/bal my tires for $140 labor. And I got some good customer service. The truth about PRO, it's not as big as the other guys, and they take all of their business much more seriously. He told me straight up why he couldn't make the same prices on my tires as Costco or Sam's club, "they handle so much volume, we could never compare to that. Sorry." I then made my mind, forget the extra $15 I'd save, I had PRO buy/mount/bal all 4 tires. Quality service beats the shoping cart line at costco any day.

PRO also sponsors Monsters At the Beach in the summer. We should get invovled.

Great research man.

I have noticed that there are not a lot of shops in the area that seem to want to take time to answer questions - or they are never really sure of their answers. I had my work done with ETA (Eastern Offroad) they are a little more however, they back their work and are professional - you never get the feeling that they are "learning as they go" on your truck.

this is not a plug for ETA - just what I have seen.

They definately are the shop I will continue to use.
