This is a discussion thread titled "Need a Press for New Stud", within the Mid-Atlantic forum, part of the News and Events category.
Anyone in the area have access to a press?
I need to put a new stud into my wheel adapter, and also press the onld one out. A hammer won't cut it on this one.
Any help would be appreciated. I'd prefer payment in beer and chicken wings!

All a man really needs for happiness in this world is a good woman, a faithful dog, and a big-a$$ed set of tires on his truck.

Over two months later. 5 studs holds just fine.
Today I finally got the new stud set. Relatively easy when you bring your own parts to the shop. Cost was 1/2 hr of labor. And I watched him torque everything to 85ftlbs. Just in time for the road trip to SC.
Also had them pull a nail I had in the tread. Crazy BFG AT's tread is so thick, the nail didn't even pierce the 1st ply. No charge.
....it was a Tundra heavy day. (take a look at the new pics in my gallery lol)
