OK, I'm finally checking in . . . Stafford VA w/ an '03 Tundra TRD, K&N FIPK (before I read all the negative comments in TS about them--works fine for me), A.R.E. Z-series shell, smoke bug deflector, Flowmaster exhaust, IS Rims (not on yet), new speakers . . . that's it for now. Future: 2"-2.5" front lift, AAl, skid plates, better tires. I'm not much of a mechanic and my time is limited since I spend about 60 hours a week either at work, or "doing the commute" between here and DC--and the rest ispent w/our 10 month old. I'll undoubtedly be asking for some recommendations on a reliable shop to help w/the suspension mods.
I'm a transient military guy, so I probably won't be around for too many years anyway. VA is probably where I've lived the longest (3 assignments, N & S VA) in the last 21 years.
Short of a few forest trails at Quantico, don't do a lot of off-roading--though I'd like to do more. Since I've had the truck I've taken it up Pikes Peak in a very sloppy summer snow storm, climbed some of the access trails at Breckenridge, messed around in some dry river beds in the desert near Palm Springs CA, bounced around some basic trails in N. AZ, and criss-crossed the country twice, loaded down w/crap during moves between assignments. Never had a problem.

Just thought I'd say hi.
Ditboy, I'm down in Fredericksburg. I've been threatening a Virginia meet for a while, and I think I'll try to make it happen this spring. I hope I can count you in.

Cyberbill,
I heard a new term for us folk the other day. it seems hillbilly is not political correct and some find it offensive. The new term /description for us mountain folk is APPALACHIAN AMERICANS
and yes I think I remember you, but i've always been bad with names. and good with faces.
