Default tundra alarm activations by Arkansas dealers

if you live in Arkansas and have had your alarm turned on, could you please reply with the loction and cost. I'm heading down monday to get mine turned on and don't want to get raped by my dealer. I bet if I walked in with this thread printed out i'll walk out with more of my money then i would without it. And if not I'll take my money to one of the better dealers.

Thanks.

Think positive! Maybe your dealer will activate yours for nothing like my dealer did.

A phone call to the dealer could answer your question also.

My dealer agreed to activate the alarm for free whilst my truck was being serviced. Call before you set off and make a deal - get the persons name.
If you turn up having not made arrangements, they can charge what they want; a phone call (as was previously suggested) is a must.

I agree with all the above. Look into it before walking through the door. Going to your original dealer that sold you your truck will dramatically improve your chances of getting it done for free, or at least a minimal cost to you.

Thanks. I asked one of the service managers a few months ago and he said $60 I thought that was a little high.

Well that bites! Was it the dealer that you bought the truck from? Also, maybe wait until your taking it in for an oil change. That way your already getting it serviced and they are not "going out of thier way" for the modification.

Just tell them you bought the truck from them. The option is technically on the truck therefore you have already paid for it. If they try to charge you after that go to the sales manager and tell him this is the last truck you will buy from them and you will let all your friends know how they try to rip their customers off by charging you for what you already have and paid for.

How About Going To The Dealer You Bought It From When You Are Planning To Spend Money On Service. You Know Oil Change With Rotate And Alot Of The Times The Dealership Will Be Will To Do Something Simple For Free. If Not Why Would The Tech Waste His Time Doing Something For Free If You Are Not Willing To Spend Money There. Also Service Managers Dont Like To Be Threatened For You Leaving As There Is Alot Of Other Cars On Road Than Yours. If Your Friends Won't Come There Then They Can Go To Jiffy Lube And Well Thats Self Explanitor

I need you to drive straight to the psych ward right now. Your brain has seriously short circuited and is no capitalizing the first letter of every word. The good news is that it can be fixed. Go straight to your 1st grade teacher and ask her to cover the chapter on which letters need to be capitalized in a sentence. If you cannot find a 1st grade teacher then look for any child over the age of 6-7, they can help with your problem.

Just kidding. I was out there a few months ago and noticed that the locals have thick accents.
