I would like to take a moment to talk about my experience with a dealership in Wichita Ks. (Eddy's Toyota). I purchased a 2000 Tundra limited in 2000,These people pissed me off! Rude,unwilling to help.I swore I would never buy from them again. Well I wanted to see the new Taco. So I popped in to Eddy's. I met a salesman who was very polite and cortious. I've found out that the owner of the company fired everyone 3 months later and there is a whole new sales staff. The Gentleman that assisted me was very honest straight foreward, and did not pressure me in anyway.Because of him I will go back to Eddy's as long as he is there. Thank you Josh Pettay!!

Great...but be careful. I've twice seen nice folks in dealerships where the price on the printed contract was magically higher than the agreed price. Also in both cases bogus charges were added to the contract.

Trust but verify.

What dealer in the Chicago area would you recommend I go to get get an 05 Tacoma?

I bought my Tundra at Evanston Toyota they were pretty cool, but i have been taking my other truck in there for service for alot of years.

My sister buys here toyota's at Schaumburg Toyota she has a Tacoma and 4 Runner. She has always had a good experience with them. I think they have a good asortment of trucks there also.

I live in the Chicago area and when I bought my Tundra I got the best deal at Carmax in Kenosha <Wi. Carmax sells new cars there. They beat all the Chicago area dealers by almost 6000.00 , and you don't have to haggle about price.
