This is a discussion thread titled "Midwest Repair and Service", within the Midwest forum, part of the News and Events category.
Does anyone have the name of a good shop in the Mpls. area to have some JBA headers installed? Thanks for help!
I replied to your PM. The info I mentioned in the PM is in the Exhaust Forum and is available to registered members. Just do a search with: " install JBA " and it'll bring up a bunch of threads some of which have install help.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to syphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????
Mostly bass fishing and doing pretty good, I'm fishing a private club now and plan to hit bigger circuits next year since I just got a faster and better boat this year.

I just bought a new '05 DC in August at St. Cloud Toyota but I live on the outer ring of the twin cities and would like to know from the MPLS members where they get their warranty work done and how they rate the local Toyo dealer for service.
I've been using Luther Toyota at I-394 and General Mills Blvd. I've been satisfied with their service and warranty coverages. I do every bit of service work I can at home so I've not been a frequent visitor there except for parts for our Camry and Tundra. Parts Depart. has been great for what that's worth. They are doing some major construction at their facility so things are moving around on the site. I live in Plymouth along 169.

I use Carlson Toyota in Coon Rapids. They have been on the news for being one of the best shop in the Twin Cities. My personal experiences have been positive. I have priced parts with them though and they don't offer any discounts from list.
Stay away from Carlson and Maplewood, they both suck for service. They have a problem excepting when they're wrong and didn't do it right the first time. Maplewood just blows you off and blame other problems. Carlson knows didly squat and pawns you off to the regional rep who also kows didly squat. Both service managers at Maplewood and Carlson are Jack A$$es. If I had to do it again, I'd buy the parts and put it in myself, which I do now no matter how tuff the task is.
An update: I had the headers installed by Jeff Peterson out in Montrose. His shop is called Jeff-ex. The guy that installed mine is Mitch and he did a very good job. The number is 763-675-3211 in case anyone is interested.
