This is a discussion thread titled "Disappointment", within the Midwest forum, part of the News and Events category.
Well I went to the Twin Cities Auto Show this weekend and to my disappointment they did not have the new Tundy there. And to make matters worse they wouldn’t even let you sit in the FJ Cruiser they had there due to the fact is was “Pre Production” Same with the Yaris. Then I went to check out one of the Rav4's and they didn’t even bring one with a third row seat. GM and Chrysler brought the Camaro and Challenger concepts, Toyota really disappointed me this year.
I feel your frustration, they give us the same treatment here in San Diego......and we're a pretty major city (at least major enough to have the highest gas prices in the nation). At our auto show in January, we got about the same stuff that you described. We usually get production cars, some exotics from the local Ferrari/Lamborghini/etc. dealer and a few token concepts thrown in for good measure. If we want to see the good stuff, we have to go to LA.
