Heading to ND in a couple of weeks , then we will have been in all 50 states .
Anyone have any suggestions on the must see sites in ND.

Thanks Bill

The only thing that comes to my mind would be the Badlands in the western part of the State. Medora was Teddy Roosevelt's favorite place and it's in the same area. Maybe one the ND guys will pop in with more places.

Larry

PS: Just thought of another possibility. Seems like Lewis and Clark traipsed through ND along the Missouri river on their way to the northwest coast. You might check the ND state website I'll bet they'll have a tourism section.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to siphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????

You'd better take a look at a map of the western part of ND (Medora) to be exact. SD isn't the only place in the world with badlands.

Since I grew up only 30 miles from Medora, and have been lost in them, I definetly know THERE ARE BADLANDS IN NORTH DAKOTA.
Western ND is more scenic than the east (which is very flat). Medora is pretty cool if you have never been there. Check out the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, it's worth seeing once. The Medora Musical is kind of cool. It takes place in an outdoor amputheater at night-very nice. You won't find nicer people anywhere in the US. IMHO PM me if you have any questions, I'll be glad to help.

We should start by North Dakota heritage Center then visit the Salem sue in the New Salem Ave!

For history you should visit Clark's Historical Team.
Enjoy.

I too have gone in this area, its very cool ride but its very enjoyable. I have fond of many bikes and used to ride every new bike, i have so many friends usually we go for racing every weekend and have good time over there. So those who want to go for ride don't forgot the North Dakota trip. Medora is pretty cool if you have never been there. You will find nice people over there and there you have so many facilities over there.

Yes ;
We did make it to ND in 2006 and now have been to all 50 states , one more goal off my check list.
We got to jamestown and go to see the white buffalo which was another goal ,we spent some of our early travel years visiting most of the Indian reservations .
We also did the Enchanted Hwy ,got to see tons of Pheasant . and Theodore Roosevelt National Park , it was snowing side ways when we were there .LOL
It always amazes me how friendly people are once you get out of the big city's and ND was no exception met some really nice people .
