in the illinois or the attica? hey, if anybody does want to cruise over to attica to the o.r. park, post here, i'd be up for a large unofficial official (as per t.s. rules) meet later in the season, but i think it'd be a good time to hit the park before it's covered in snow. what's the name of the park? i'll call 'em up and get some information, if somebody posts the name or phone # of the place...

on december 7th, they're doing a toys-for-tots event, admission to the park for a 1-day is normally 15 bucks, bring a 15$ toy w/receipt and that's good for admission...i think that'd be a great day for a t.s. unofficial meet-up.
looks like the cost would break down like this: 15 bucks for a day pass, 10$ a day for multi-day passes, you gotta buy a flag (10$ or 15$ for a spiffy one, you get to keep it). looks like a lot of fun.
who'd be up for meeting there on the 7th of december for the tft event? i'd actually like to go before then, any weekend other than thanksgiving, who'd be up for a pre-dec 7th meet?
Princeton, IN sounds great if Toyota kicks in to provide a little support - factory tour, TRD Discounts, T-shirt or cap, or something along these lines...
called 'em, they said there's the gravel pit and a few trails a stock tundra would be fine on, plus there's the rest of the 700+ acres, i'm sure there are more than a few trails a lifted tundra can pull through . i'm looking forward to this, i might just head out there this weekend to check it out.

sounds great i'll try and be there on the 7th. about the other on memorail day weekend. i don't know about southern ind. but any where close to indp. is crazy that big race sure makes a mess of any where close to there. but eathier way i'll and try and make that one too.
Thank you for effectively killing this thread. I posted it in the general non-vehicle related forum to expose this question to the majority of the people on this board in hopes of getting the attention of owners who live in the midwest. We were getting some resposes of interest until shortly afterwards when you moved it to some remote section under "Toyota Sightings". If we already had the event planned it would make sense to have the thread moved to the events section. But since nothing has been finalized and only the original people who saw this thread know about it we might not get enough interest. PLEASE !!! move this back to the general chat section. At least for a few weeks so we can let the general public know of our intentions and see if they would like to join in on a midwest gathering.
could we at least have a link from the general forum over here? nobody hardly ever checks under the toyota sightings forum...things get lost and swept under the rug here.

oh, december 7th was the "real" unofficial pre-spring meet...it's the toys for tots thing. i'm going to be there for that as well, plan on that being the "pre-spring" meet. this weekend is just jason and i and anyone else who can make it . if you'd like to come but you think you wouldn't get there until later in the day, pm me and i'll send ya a contact number so we can all meet up.
jus' to make things simple, here's the plan so far:
nov. 23: meet 10am badlands o.r. park in attica, indiana...contact tundra-gearhead or deepstealth for details.
dec. 7th: meet sometime in the am at badlands again, this is the toys-for-tots event, i highly recommend going to this one if nothing else (don't forget a 15$ toy). SOOO...keep this one on your calendar
sometime in the spring: we all get together and take a tour of the plant, drink some brews, do some wheeling, etc. etc. etc.
