Alright New Englanders, lets get a summer meet together! We've got a date of July 21st and the location is still undecided at this point. But throw some ideas out there if your planning on attending. I think we may have about 4 members right now.
This would be more of a meet & great & drink type thing so there won't be any mud slinging (you'll have to wait until Matt's '07 October Mtn trail ride for that ). PM your fellow TS members and get them to tag along too. Who cares if your truck is a mess, well unless you have chips all over your hood (lol...intrepid )!

Hey Joey, thanks for taking the lead on this one. I am in, of course. Good opportunity to get out and actually meet some of the gang. Depending on how many respond, will determine the location. Every one I attended was great and it was good to meet folks. Tacos or Tundras would be great. Heck, have a friend with a GM/Ford/Chevy, bring them along. We can handle it.
Let me see if I can dig up Tundraplumber, Vanityplates, and Toasted Coastie. Those guys were always on board for a meet.

Great! A location will be chosen as soon as we see where most people are coming from. We want to pick a place that is somewhat central and easy to get to. To answer your question, I would expect MA and a place with access from one of the major highways...Like 495, 95, 128, etc.

Sounds good. I got my front suspension done Saturday. New upper ball joints, alignment, and reinstalled my SAW's with new corrosion proof bodies. Now I can leave them on year round.

So far, so good. I know there are plenty of people peeking in, unless Portugue and I are driving up the view count so, let's add something to make the meet a little fun. How about a "pick the winner" from the hat game after brunch. Ask Toasted Coastie, I did this the last time I visited NH and we went to Hooters there. Adds a little fun.
I offer the following: I will bring 1 or 2 bottles of pure agave tequila, fresh from Mexico. (it is part of my diet now) Blanco or Reposado will be the choices. Don Julio will be the brand. For those that know tequila, it is a good choice, IMO. I will also add some shot glasses from my location and Mexico logo/date. I have a couple of other items to bring home for other friends, so it will be cool to share.
So for those folks peeking in, let's get out of the house and meet some people. It is a good fun. Trust me, the lawn can wait a couple of hours. I learned this fact when I got reassigned over the border.
Anybody need some TRD fender flares? I have a complete set, in perfect condition. I need to clean the garage, but, do not want the pain of ebay and shipping. Not concerned to move them, but, if interested, I will bring them along. Heck, I have a collection of parts in my garage. I will not give them away, but, if someone wants/needs them, you will 'steal' them.
We have a date for 7/21. I will check with Portugue so we set a time and place to help people plan.
For now, how about some 07's to add to the group. Have never seen one in person. Be nice to see what Toyota has done from the first Gen.

Whenever I have mentioned I was stationed in New Mexico a few people replied "I didnt know we had military bases in Mexico." What do you expect from those that have never been west of the Mississippi.
