Ian, my GF scuba dives, I've only snorkeled in Hawaii. I live in the Fall River area, but worked for BFI, so every Wednesday I worked in Burriville(spelling?).
Welcome. We missed you yesterday (Saturday meet). Need to ask, any special meaning for your log on name "v8Toilet"?
My friend at work who owns a 2002 Ford F-150 likes to call my Tundra a toilet. I couldn't think of a name that would stand out so I chose V8Toilet since I have a V8 Tundra that my buddy like's to call a toilet.
Hard to forget that name isn't it!
I was actually headed out the door with directions in my hand to go to that Tundra meet. I had cleaned the interior the night before and stupid me left the window open. It rained all night long so by the time I got to my truck the drivers side interior was soaked. I had to get out the wet-dry vacuum and spend an hour sucking out every drop of water that I could get out. Luckily the interior is OK. I almost never leave my windows open either.
I saw some pictures of the meet. Looks like there were a good turnout considering the decrepit weather.

Welcome Jim. Nice color on the truck! Would you like to join us for a summer grill? Nice chance to get to meet some fellow TS members. The folks are great! Either way, nice to have another NE member aboard.

Newbie member here. Will be picking up my new 2002 red Tundra Ltd on Friday. I drove 5 other trucks yesterday before settling on the Tundra, and I started out not expecting to end up where I did. I look forward to hearing more about what you folks have learned and perhaps making some modest contributions as I figure out this new toy. I am one who keep vehicles a long time - my Explorer that I'm just giving up is 8 years old and has been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned so the Tundra has its work cut out for it. I'm optimistic.

Please jump on to our thread in NE for details. For now, the meet is set for 7/14 at 11:00 am at Purgatory Chasm in Sutton, MA. Unless you have a special diet or need, I think we have details covered. Thanks for the offer. Plan to join us. You will meet a class of people that are better than the truck we drive! Confirm, if possible, if you can join us so I know how many parking spots we need.
Thanks.
