I also understand where John (jdc580) is coming from. We do have busy schedules, but, a post from the locals does not take much time. I guess it would be nice to see more activity/post from NE folks, even if we cannot meet. For now, I expect to return in March/April from my assignment over the border,but, I will be in touch as I am bringing my new laptop with me so I can stay connected.

That's funny because I'm remodeling a bathroom for a friend too. He owns a 110 year old house that was previously done over by someone who ruined the framing in the floor. This person cut 6” out of a 2*8 joist to put in pipes that didn’t even have water traps. I had to tear apart the whole floor and reframe it to fix it. What a mess it was!

Thanks! BTW, gotta love it (your comment)! I do some work on the side, and I hate having to fix other peoples mistakes. They (the fixers) must think, the homeowner doesn't know better, so cutting corners is okay. I call them "pickup truck wannabees"........people that want to be
contractors or think they are......
