2008 Toyota Tundra Sits In My Driveway!

Just thought I'd let you all know that I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Double Cab Toyota Tundra SR5. Color is pyrite Mica. I ordered it online from Acton Toyota from my home in northern Maine, where I live for 8 months out of the year (the rest of the time I spend in MA). I picked up my Tundra on November 27, 2007.

My salesman at Acton Toyota was Steve Augusta. Great communication, upfront with everything, and ordered my Tundra for me without requiring a deposit. He and the finance rep Keith Mobley also gave me a great price on the 7 year/100,000 Platinum Extended Warranty.

Today, I had a Line-x Xtra done by Line-X of Central Massachusetts located in Marlborough. They also installed the Undercover Tonneau, a Wade Bug Guard, and a set of the Wade In-Channel Wind Deflectors. The tonneau, bug guard, and wind deflectors were installed for free. The Line-X Xtra looks great and was done as per my wishes.

I'm one happy Tundra owner right now!

Did you happen to ask the dealer if any changes have been made to the 08's as relates to the 07s? I looked at the upper tail gate joint on a dealer truck last week, the open seam is unchanged. I guess another year of considering the tailgate a door is in store for us.
