I just did a Toytec 3/1 on my buddies 08 Tacoma this weekend. With simple hand tools and jack stands you can do it in your garage. The only thing you will need is a pair of spring compressors. Luckily for us a friend had some but you can rent them at auto parts stores. Tackle it yourself and save some money.
