We are close enough to the date, so time to setup the list so people can plan. We are listed on 3 Forums, so, this meet does represent the NE Folks. This list is for the TS gang.
If I missed anyone, please let me know. In total, we have 14 trucks (members) so far as of today on the yes list. A complete list of all members (all forums together) will be started within the week to help us track the total meet better. Looking good!
Surprises are planned and even a raffle event (no cost for tickets).
I will add list of items next to names for people that are offering to bring along as we move forward. All help is appreciated.
Spread the word. Tundras, Tacos, Seqs, and bring what ya got, are welcome. Family, public park event and chance to meet people with common interest should be fun.
Put him down as Dave. You can put my name in there too, it's Brian.

OK fine... I've stopped lurking this thread. Just talked to Petros and you can pencil us in. Just hope my truck is out of the shop and running ok. It will be good to see some old faces and new ones too!

Nice to hear from you Paul and Petros too. Heck if I was home we would have a private meet and have some drink together. Thanks for the response. This may be my last attempt at setting up meets, so I want this to go well. Looking forward to being home in a couple of weeks. See you guys soon!!!!!

Okay, here is the current list of members that have posted as yes so far. This also includes members from the forums that we are posted on. We need to start the "what to bring" list soon. Still time to jump in and be a part of the 2009 NE Meet. Thanks.
I really really want to join, but I have a small surgery to do on Aug-10. So I cannot meet with you guys, I hope all you guys enjoy it. Ans I will be in next time. Hope will meet all you guys next time!!!!

I will be "wheels up" in 2 weeks and it is time to get the details covered here to have a good meet for everyone, make it enjoyable, and nobody goes home hungry.
As I courtesy, I ask that if you can offer any support to bring items. The list is open at this time. I plan to cover the gaps in what is needed, as soon as I know what is missing. This is a BBQ meet, so, a lot of detail to cover to make it okay. Coals and fluid is already covered by another member, btw.
What I am asking for:
Truck count: You are on the yes list, and still committed to join the meet. This is important so I can figure out best spot in the park to put all of these trucks together next to a good BBQ spot.
People Count:
If you are bringing anyone, please let us know. I do not need serial number and rank. Just a basic count by truck. For example, jbtoy + 1 guest (this is my son in law). You can stay with this approach as "guest" or say who you are bringing, as in me + GF or wife or 2 children. If you are bringing your GF and not your wife, I do not need to know . The key here is too be sure we have enough food/drink for everyone and a surprise raffle based on how many attend.
Remember, I will be visiting the Park on 8/2/09 to determine best parking and best grill location. (looking for shade in case it is very hot and sunny that day). I will publish pics to help you find it. Knowing the logistics of people and trucks will make this better for everyone.
I am still working some special ideas to make this better, but, we can cover that later. For now, please respond. The meet list will stay open obviously, until the day of the meet to allow last minute changes or people to join us.
2009 New England Tundra Meet ....Do not miss it, if you enjoy meeting people with a common interest and folks you may be chatting with on the forums! Take care everyone!!!!

Matt (aka Scorp979) bringing 2000 AC SR5, 1 4 year old daughter, and possibly 1 buddy (wannabe Toyota enthusiast)
Happy to bring a case of dogs, a case of burgers and the fixings, (buns, relish, ketchup, mustard)
I will also be bringing enough fluids to keep my crew covered pending a scorching day and I will borrow my wife's good digital Slr camera so we can get lots of good pics to post.
