Thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread on the "boys". I know, it is early. What do you think? Can the Sox become the next game in town like the Pats? We still love those guys.....history does not go away for the diehards, but, we are finally the Champions! Sounds great to me!

Could be tough with Schilling & Wells out on the DL. Went in to the game yesterday against Baltimore, but it was cancelled due to rain.
I went to mondays game. Can't beat $7, sit where ever you want. Usually by the fourth inning, if no one clames your seat, it's yours.
I was pretty hard on Sammy, and was spoken to about it.
One of the guys with us got Miguel Tejada's autograph, I got Jerry Remy's at Remdawg's, but Jim Rice snubbed me.
If you go in 2 hours before the game starts (batting practice) usually you can get as many opposing team signatures as you can handle.
I think if Wade Miller comes back healthy, we will be fine. Toronto and Baltimore are having good starts again, and Baltimore will not stay in first for long, they lack the pitching. Posnson and Lopez being there best pitchers, and historically inconsistant, but the O's have an increadable slugging team. Look at Brian Roberts this year, that kid is on fire! Lilly and Halliday for toronto are inconcistant, but can really boost that team to a penant run and shock everyone.
The yankees pitching is in absolute disarray, and the Deval Rays? Keep pitching inside, and keep losing games.

I can't believe the sox are still in first place, with the pitching problems they have. I guess the bats have been keeping them in there, however in the post season, good pitching always beats good hitting, as we saw in the 2004 world series.

I'm trying to get tix to thier last home series game against the yanks at the end of this month, I've never been to a game before and I'm sure as hell it will be pretty wild up there.
Manny better wake up soon. It looks like he is mailing it in. Days off, DHing, strolling to first, slow outfielding, etc, etc.
1000!
Anywho, I think Manny has been running them out a little better since he got flack the last time for dogging it. Batting doesnt concern me with captin clutch on the team (ortiz) the pitching is the problem right now.

Somehow, someway, we make it to the dance. Cleveland is the surprise of the summer. Where did these boys come from???
dude, their number 2 starter got decimated today. You have more faith than me friend! they are sucking, and if they dont break out, it will be NY, CLE, CHI and ANA in the playoffs.

Here are the picks: Bosox, NY, CLE, and ANA going to the dance.
Yes, Chicago completes the biggest collapse in baseball when they go head-to-head with Cleveland!
Now, where did I put that tequila......
**btw, I will be leaving for Chicago, Ohio, and Texas for Business beginning
9/20/05. Will be back next weekend, in Mex, of course!

Dude, I didn't forget, I conviniently ignored them. Billy Bean puts a team together every year that makes it to the play offs. I hate him. And for cheap coin too. The team he put together this year looks even better than the last, even after losing some of the best starters they have had (Mulder/Hudson) since the Eck.
