Default Snow in October?

Anyone else get some snow this afternoon? I was raking the leaves and all of a sudden it went from a slight drizzle to a pretty heavy snowfall. It didn't stick to the pavement but all the lawns are still white! I hope this means we are having another snowy winter!!

We recently had some on the mountain peaks and a few flakes here at lake level (6,750'). Funny, this winter my JOB is going to be making snow. Should be fun...

I was surprised when I landed at the airport and it was snowing Saturday night. Thankfully, the weather has been nice for the last 3 days. All I have heard is how much rain this place has had in October. I need to get retrained on how to deal with "snow".

Hey guys, (I think I jumped this thread, sorry)

Home for a quick visit to get some personal things done. Returning on 11/6/05 to Mex. I will then be home for the Holidays starting on 12/22/05. Still negotiating on "when" I will return to NE for good, and then to make up for "lost time"!.......soon.....

Hope everyone is doing well in NE! And yes, the weather is nice this week.
