hey trux, I too wanted to get involved with a get together when I first started with TS. I had seen the pics from the Texas and Cailifornia Meets and the very idea of seeing some of these modified trucks was enough for me to start my own annual event. My first try was me and 1 other TSer, toddkokko and his girlfriend. the second year I had a much stronger turnout, this year I expect even more (that is if I ever get things set this year). So my advise to you is to start your own event, and stick with it, you never know what it could turn into!

Sunday, 8-12" snow Blizzard conditions until about 3:00pm
Sunday afternoon, highs of about 55 which should melt half of what just fell
Monday, Freezing @ss cold
Tuesday, Highs in the upper 60 which will melt all the snow that just fell
Wednesday, once again....a high of -20.
and Thursday, chance of a light snowfall then turning mild in the afternoon highs in the 55's.

Anyway, not all is hopeless. My son who lives in Durango calls me and asks about trucks, ford or chevy type phone call. The upshot was about four calls later he is the proud owner of a 2003 Trundra (access cab, TRD pkg, V8, 4x4).
Says it is a nice ride, I might get a chance to borrow it.
