Thought I would throw out my 2006 Sox thread to see how the passion is doing back home. Looks like a new infield and some new boys on the mound. Now, how does the chemistry look? So far, a decent start, but, we all know, it is only April. Too many things can happen and too many trades at the mid point can change everything.
Hoping the Boys have a great year and we finish first. Yes, the Yanks can have the wild card, that is okay. Not important from here. Just get to the dance, and make sure you are the last one on the floor. That is the goal
Opinions respected....but, I always hope for the best. No reason not to.
Go Sox!

kind of rolls of your lips
Oh ya, Arroyo got smoked today, but he still has two home runs.

They lucked out today with the homerun in the bottom of the 9th. Nice to have a win on Marathon Monday.

As much as I hate to say it, I am not sure how the Red Sox will pull it off this year. Last year they were barely lucky enough to make the playoffs, they had a great season when they were in first up until the yanks came up from 4th place to 1st. Like JBtoy said, I too hope they get to dance and come in first, good luck to the bosox! Unfortunately it looks like the evil empire might be on a rise this year. But you never know, we have plenty of time....long live the Red Sox.
come on! The number 1 and 2 starters are owning the competition right now. Their rookie part time closer is making the regular closer look like the rookie. Now, if the offense starts to fire it up, it's going to be an exciting year. BUT, if Wake, Clement and the mystery #5 starter don't pull their weight, we are doomed.

Almost at the 1/3 pole in the season. The boys are hanging in there and seem to be holding their own. I know it is still early and we still have some questions, but,.......
How is the feeling back home? People positive? It still looks like the Boys and the Yanks for this division based on what I read.
Either way, still hoping for the best!
Go Sox!
