Anyone know of a good reputable transmission repair place in the Boston area. There is a local AAMCO here, but not sure on their quality of work. I need my rear u-joint replaced. Any info would be great. Thanks guys!

Why would you go to a tranny shop for a U-joint? Any good repair shop will be able to fix that. There is an automotive/Harley shop on rt 109 (?) that does really good work. I would stay away from Aamco.

A buddy of mine told me they did his and worked out well for him. They do more than just transmissions I guess.

Did you ever find a good transmission shop? I need to have my transmission rebuilt and would like to ahve someone else besides aamco do it.
Do you ahve pictures of the mods you did to your truck?

I actually went to a local repair shop and they got it done. I just had to replace a u-joint.
Click the little photo thing o the right of my post window and you'll see the pics of my truck.

An awesome shop is Transtech in Rindge NH. THe facility is top notch. When you see it (the shop) you will understand.

I found a good shop. Shrewsbury Transmissions. Dropping off the truck next week to have it rebuilt. Along with this need new tires and a remote starter/alarm.
