Default Interested in a 'wheeling and camping trip in South Jersey (no...seriously) August

Okay gang...years ago, I used to 'wheel in the Pine Barrens with a small group of Ford owners. On a few occasions we brought our tents and camped out and had a good time at Batsto. The idea would be to meet up at a place called the Red Lion diner on a Saturday, wheel all day...camp at night..wheel some more and head home to fix things. We can get a group campground that can hold quite a few people, so don't be shy!

The area is Atco/Red Lion circle on 206/70 in the Pine Barrens, I think it's about 40 minutes off of the NJ Turnpike/I-95. Due to the numerous stream crossings and often muddy situations, 4WD is going to be required.

Please let me know if you are interested and which of the following dates (Aug 19/20 or Aug 26/27) would work for you. Invite your friends!!! Let's get the plan locked down by Aug 1 so I can reserve a campsite!!! I have posted this over in the Mid-Atlantic forum, but was hoping to get a whole bunch of people.

Okay gang...looks like we have two trucks so far, and will try gathering more soon. Here are the details, please post any questions

When: Saturday, Sept 2--9AM (8AM if you want breakfast)
Where: Meet at the Red Lion Diner at the Red Lion Circle (Routes 70 & 206) Red Lion: 609-859-2301
What: Off roading in Wharton State Forest/Batsto
A few logistics: After breakfast we will likely wheel for a few hours, stop for lunch, then wheel some more (the plan is to be done with the day by around 4-5ish) and then I will retire to a local campground. Anyone wanting campground reservations must RSVP by August 18. There are a few local campgrounds.
-4WD only
-Bring shovels, hi lift jacks, tow straps, chains, winch gear, wood scraps, firewood (if camping), food, cooler, etc
-I will be tuning into FRS, channel 7-09 and will give my cel# to any attendees
-Kids, dogs, and families are welcome but all children must be on leash ;-)

Info on the locales in below, bear in mind that it's a holiday weekend when making plans. Please post any questions here or IM me for further info.
