Default Going to try again... Boise or near?

Ok. Last time I tried this, I had two responses and both were from people who use to live here but no longer do. I have been to the Southwest area (I am a native Arizonian) and those guys (as well as other portions of our great nation) have it going on. There is a lot of communication and even gatherings with the folks. I would love to be able to have that in my region of the world. If anyone on this board is from/around Boise ID. then please "check in". Doesn't have to be exactly in Boise, but around the area. would be great. If you love your truck like I do, then traveling a couple/few hours is no big deal and we could start meeting and exchanging ideas and at least see what others have done to their rigs. If there is anybody out there around ther southwest Idaho area...let me/us know....

I have seen a good increase in the number of Tundras on the Boise area. I have actually talked to a couple of guys that I have seen and have gave them this address but don't know if they are members or not. Just want to see if there are any new members from the Souther Idaho/Northen Utah/Easten Oregon (or anywhere else around these parts) on this forum. Checking in...

Hey Warrior,

Click on your 'User CP' (user control panel) at the top left of this or any thread. You will see in the control panel a section for members in the dealer group.

Anyone who has registered and selected the same dealer as you will show up in that section - you could send them PM's to generate interest. Many of us have used a business card (check the general questions forum for a file to download) to place on other trucks we see. You may also want to order some of member Dyojim's TS stickers to advertise (check parts classifieds for them)

Good luck and if I didn't mention it already...GO BRONCOS...I will be at the Liberty Bowl to cheer them on in person in my Orange gear!

Brad

I am in Boise. Was over in the Owyhees on Christmas Day. Way too muddy to get off the all weather gravel roads. I had a nice hike though. You can see a few pictures of my truck if you click on photo link in my signature.

Right on. I haven't been to the Owyhees yet but I have heard that it is pretty nice out there (in some parts). Unfortunatly, I don't have 4x4 so I gotta watch where I go I live out in Kuna area so I get to see the Owyhees all the time to Your truck looks nice. Going to leave it somewhat stock or are you going to do some custom work? I will be planning a second annual Tundra meet for this '06 summer. Will be on the Oregon coast area though. Would love to have another "Potatoe state" plate there I will be posting more about that in a couple of months.

No mods for me with the exception of some real tires. The Owyhees are great but you have to go at the right time of year. Too muddy in the winter. April, May and June are the best months. Summer gets to hot and dry. The Owyhees are remote country so if you go make sure to take food and lot and lots of water, a blanket or sleeping bag and really make sure you have good tires. You know what they say, " the best vehicle to drive in the Owyhees is someone elses".
