Should have my coilovers by Friday, and have them installed next week (wed/thurs). Will post pics...before and after on level ground with measurements.
Considering most farm trucks get something put in the back from time to time, Line-x should have been the first mod.

I have it in mine and its held up really well.

Yeah yeah, I'm getting around to it...my bed is scatched all to sh!t, but i figure it won't matter when I get the liner, since they'll scuff and prep it anyway before they spray it. My GF wants to get the liner done for me for my b-day...she's a cool chick...she thinks my truck is her's...she's wrong. LOL!

Yeah, but maybe not for too much longer. She's looking into transfering her credits to UGA school of vet medicine, so that we can be closer, and have a lot more sexy times.

Friggin' SAW still hasn't shipped my coilovers....they were waiting for the springs from Eibach...WTF??!! I want my damned parts! All I need are the COs and then I can get started...er...the shop can get started.

I finally got my coilovers in...they said 3-5 days to build and ship, but springs never came from Eibach, so it took them 3 friggin' months to get the damned things to me. I finally got them last Friday and it all goes on Tuesday...just in time for 5 days of farm work and some offroad hauling...we'll see how it all does.

I had been talking to ORW about every other week, and their hands were tied since the COs were drop-shipped. They did their best to nudge SAW, and all they got was "getting springs in two days, then will ship." I was so patient with them, that the last time I talked to Jason over at ORW, he said that they had already decided to offer me the Donahoes if those came in first...no extra charge. He said though that DRC had also dropped the ball and they had been backordered for months, with ZERO good estimate of when they would have some available. I guess that the good coilovers are just hard to find right now for the new Tundra.

BTW, I'm not into the looks and "beauty" of my components...I could care less, they be covered with mud and manure soon enough anyway...but these damned SAW coilovers are beautiful! I mean, they look damned goooood. WTF? They gonna make me wanna wash my truck!!...NAAAAAAA!

I'll take before and after pics in my driveway at the same angles, so that the difference is evident...I'll also keep stock TRD wheels and rubber, so the gain in height/travel will be very clear.

Haw! What a mess. FYI, Kartek and Polyperformance usually have springs in stock, and you can find barely used springs sometimes through the racing and rockcrawling boards...people always trying to spot the spring rate, so if anyone else is having a similar problem, try some of the spring exchange programs.

Can't wait to see this . Your truck with stock arms and uniball upper will pull as much travel as my truck with an LT kit.

Yeah, definitely a mess since, I paid for the things 3 months ago. That's what made the waiting more frustrating...never knew I could go with a different spring...I just assumed that whatever SAW put on there was best.

Yeah, I'm itchin' to get this stuff on there...been having to look at the UCAs just sitting on the garage floor for too long, and there are some little jumps on the farm that I want to work out the susp on. Downside is...now I'll have to get a 4" drop hitch! Ooooh darn...Tractor Supply! Here I come!!!

Yanno you can put on the upper arm without having the coilover. It won't change anything, but it'll be one less thing to do later .

Update:::::::::

Took the truck to the shop last week to get the parts installed. The lady wrote everything down that I wanted to do. I asked to go speak with the mechanic about shadowing him, and she took me back there. When the mechanic looked at the workorder, he got a distressed look and said that he couldn't do any of the spring work. He said that he could do the UCAs when the aal and coilovers were in, and he had no idea what a diff drop was. I was at a reputable axle/suspension/tires.brakes place that had told me the week befor ethat they could do it. I think that the mechanic just didn't feel like doing the work.

He sent me to another guy who does springs. This guy didn't know what a coilover was, and when I took it to him he said "dern, I never sawed one of them before...I reckon it'll take me 6 or 7 hours to install it once I figure it out."

No thanks

Going to the truck shop in Augusta that my Uncles take their trucks to. They've done plenty of these setups, and the guy on the phone knew exactly what I was talking about. Driving it down tomorrow, then heading to the farm. The b!tch about taking it to this other place is that I can't shadow them...I won't have time, AND they want it for a day and a half to make sure that they have everything sorted out on it.

I'll grill the mech on the details when I pick it up...I want to get my hands dirty on this crap...suspension and engine work are the only two things that I haven't done on a vehicle.

Yeah, Trucks and Moore (yes, two 'o's) is a well-known shop in Augusta...they also have a big online retail thing going on....they're kinda like the 4Wheel Parts for the South. They do charge a mint for labor, but it'll be done and done right...I'm over this crap...has been over 3 months...I want my damned truck done, because I have some big work and some big off-road hauling next weekend.
