This is a discussion thread titled "SAS Steering Setup", within the Off-Roading forum, part of the General Forums category.
i was just lookin around for parts and was wanderin what the size of the drag links were on your rigs. i was looking at 1" inner, 1.5" outer, .250" wall DOM tubing. Also, chevy tie rod ends, 7/8" 18 tpi tube adapters, and a new pitman arm from marlin crawler. Another question, can that new pitman arm be fitted with the chevy tie rod end after being reamed?
I suppose you are running a Toyota ifs box? If so, the marlin pitman arm is setup to be used with fj-80 TRE's I believe. If you want to run the chevy 1-tons, go with the billet pitman arm from OTT Industries. It's a little pricy, but well built and a perfect fit.

yes i am. i have looked at the OTT pitman arm already and am considering buying that, even though it is pricey. I am in a bind on what i want to do first, steering, transfer case, removing body lift.........
