Pro Comp Traction Bars

Does anyone have the Pro Comp Traction Bars for the 05-07 Tacoma's? I have a 6" Pro Comp lift and I can notice some axle wrap, as well as a good bit of wheel hop when I am in the sand. I just wanted to know if anyone had these and if they are worth it. They are almost $400 for the traction bars and the mounting kit, but I think it would be worth it if it was a noticable difference on take off and they reduced the wheel hop. I know Pro Comp says you won't lose any ground clearance with these, is that true? I mean I know the rear diff will be lower than the traction bars, but won't they get in the way if you are trying to straddle a rock or a mound with one side of your truck? Thanks,
