Default D Ring Shackle on OEM mounting locations

Is there any way to turn the stock two bolt tow hook set up to take a 3/4'' D ring shackle?

I previously replaced the factory tow hoop/loop with a standard hook. I figured it would be fine as long as there is tension on the strap since the hook will be upside down.

I know they make those hooks with clips now..will those work? Or are those clips only designed for when the hook is upright

Either way I like how solid the D ring shackles are and would like to go with those if possible.

If there isn't a bolt on option I'll probably end up welding two D ring shackle mounts to the frame and attaching the d rings
