Yep, had a blast in Harlan. I passed you a couple times but it was a muddy mess. Only sheet metal damage for me.

replaced with forged yoke after a 3.5 hour drive..
Not bad for finishing the MDR Night race, parking truck, then driving it 200 miles with zero prep, beat on it in the desert, then driving 200 miles back home.

That's cool to see so many tundra/toyota owners gathering for a good time. I've passed the entrance to Ocotillo many times on the way to mexicalli. I'd like to go one day but I'm afraid I would get stuck(with my 2wd open diff) and end up going home in shame. Seeing that stock looking guy(2nd pic, far left) gives me hope but he's probably got 4wd. Cool pics Trfytoy, thanks for sharing.

really? Hmm. Do they run limited slip or lockers? Or do they just air down and drive with a little technique? I've driven on a lot of dirt and gravel but never went for it on sand. I read that post the other day about driving at the beach though and took notes.

You should come out to one of the next SoCalTundras off-road adventures! We'll make sure to pull you out if you get stuck!
And bring a spare, Lalo may need it if he hits another rock in the desert at 'speed'! Remember that my brutha? I may have to dig back into the archives and see if I can find that pic!
