Neither of those will fit correctly. Check out Stubbs Welding for the sliders.

Dude i was thinkin that. it seemed 2 inexpensive to me, expecailly for stuff thats already made and assembled. i mean you can barly make sliders for that much money.
even there website seems kinda cheezy to me

I would just by the standard ones. Those are the ones that I planned on getting at least. I wouldn't beat on them quite hard enough to need the more expensive heavy duty ones.

All pro makes some too. I had the stubbs welding and they were good stuff. I had the 30 degree (is it cant? the angle of the outer tubes). I had to option of 60 degree. My only complaint was that they didnt tuck up close to the body. I am a fan of the deluxe sliders I just came across a good deal on the standard sliders

An hour is worth it for bombproof welds. I can send you a bunch of specs, dimensions and other stuff if you want. Gary (RoundOut) used 'em for a set on his truck, came out great. Mostly the important part is where you put the braces and how you spread the load. The ladder sections aren't a big deal.

If you plan to wheel light and easy, you can use 11 gauge = 0.120" = 1/8" wall material. If you have the money you can use 1.75" or 2.0" x 11g 1018-1020 DOM tube, as long as you're comfortable notching the tube & have a bender...DOM will hold up with less bracing than sch40, the OD looks good in proportion to the rest of the truck, but you really need a bender and a good method for notching or setup will be sloppy...lotta gaps and stuff.

Everything from the pinch weld and in can be square tube if you want...it's easier to deal with and nobody is gonna be looking at it. 2x2x0.188 (3/16") wall makes a great set of landing skids, and you can put round out from there if you want...I used square on the inside, square bracing, and sch40 on the outside. They could have been lighter...could've used 1.75" 11g DOM for the bracing and outer tube, but whatever...they work great as a step, nerf bar for rocks, and sliders.

It helps if you have a CAD program...if you don't, calipers, calculator, measuring tape and a couple T-squares, bunch of cardboard for templates and a sharp knife and that's about it.

I can get some pictures if you want.

Solidworks is perfect...I'll dig up what I have, it's all ACAD but I can convert to jpg or something. Only the dimensions matter anyway.

Do you have a way to make an angled cut through 2" material?

2" square hollow.

All the pics are on my other computer, the one with the failing IDE controller . Shoot Gary (RoundOut) a PM, see if he still has the images...if not I'll figure a way to dig 'em up from the other HD.

Username is RoundOut, his name is Gary.

I'll get some pictures this evening.

Yes very similar to the FJC model. I didn't tilt the runner tho.
