picked up the drive shaft today, single cardon on both ends. Axle end kept the 1350 joint and the transfer case has a 1310. i was kinda worried about the transfer case u-joint binding at full droop, but i hit up the closest loading dock and had it at the biggest droop possible, and no bind! . i still have to start on the transmission cross member, but for now everything is holding up great. here are a couple of the loading dock pictures:

the rear tires rubbed the fender when fully compressed, but I'm not too worried about it because this thing is rarely flexed out

Well i haven't done anything else to the tundra, don't have much money left after all this cool stuff. I am contemplating removing the 1/2" (i think, could be thinner) block that comes on the front springs. I thought about removing another leaf, but it may sit too low after its all done. New tires will be coming soon, although i am still undecided on what i want. Here are a list of things that might be done in the future"

- 37" tires (for sure)
- Chevy Master Cylinder Swap
- Hydro-Assist Steering
- PowerTrax Lock Right Front Locker
- Detroit TrueTrac Rear Limited Slip
- Rear Traction Bar

I really need to do something about my brakes, the pedal has to be slammed to the floor to be able to stop, and I have to pump the pedal to get them to lock up, even when its wet. I'm not too good with brakes, so I have a lot more research to do. Maybe Tedd will chime in and give me more info on how he did his MC swap.

If you have to pump the pedal to build preasure then the brakes probably need to be bled.

I bled them about 2 weeks ago, and it didn't get any better. The stock master cylinder just isn't big enough to push the fluid to the huge calipers that i have now. A bigger MC will help the problem. I have also read that a T100 Booster will help because it has a dual diaphragm design, so i will be looking into that also.

Well I replaced my brake pads yesterday, and found out that my front drivers caliper bracket had a bolt that was seized up which really messed with the clamping ability of that brake. Worked on getting the stuck pieces out for about 2 hours and finally got them out. Went to the ford dealership (only place that had these in stock) and paid $30 for a bolt, rubber boot and slider thingy for the brake. But now that i have the new brakes, the pedal is a ton more firm. The pedal was hitting the floor before when I braked and I couldn't lock them up to save my life. The old pads were completely gone, down to the metal. I can finally say that I have brakes again!! I probably wont do the booster and MC swap after all, at least not right now.

Well now that I have my brake situation figured out, I am definitely going to hold off on the MC and Booster swap. I am really surprised at how much of a difference new brake pads make. I had never messed with the brakes before on these axles, and come to find out they are only 2 piston calipers front and rear, the stock tundra calipers were 4 piston up front. Not to mention, I think that jammed drivers side caliper was what was making the truck pull to the right extremely hard during braking. So I can now cross that off my list of things to do.

I still plan on running on running a 37" tire. I also really want to get 4" front springs. The front is almost 3" higher than the back.... which looks just plain stupid. After reading JJC's threads on Hydro Assist, I am not too sure that i want to undergo that either. He seemed to have a lot of trouble getting things to work correctly, and ended up paying big bucks to get the whole thing done right. (Howe or PSC?? I forget) Hopefully when I get 4" springs, that will lessen the drag link angle and maybe, hopefully tighten up my steering a little. I also found that my steering stabilizer is leaking .....never ending cycle. So thats my plan for now. Hopefully.....
