That's the same one's I used when we in-boarded my rear leafs, they worked out good.
OOps, I worded that wrong, i meant decided NOT to go to a linked rear now. But anyhow, I got the frame brackets cut out and somewhat welded up today, I am going to take them to school tomorrow and either MIG the rest of it or TIG them (started TIG welding last friday so I may do that). My innershield wire in my MIG at home is giving me porosity and I dont know why. Its a brand new spool but I am thinking that it may have gotten wet or something and is not shielding correctly. But tomorrow I will be doing this swap, so I will post pics when I am done.
Finally done. Trucks sits level now, this added about an inch to the back. I ended up only taking 2 leafs out, the very bottom one and one that i think was 3rd from the top that had a lot of arc to it. It rides a ton smoother also.
Well the rear end settled down about 2", so I put back in one of the middle leafs and now it is back to level and has stayed that way. I think I have it pretty much perfect now. I still need to do something the pinion angle, but there are no vibes or anything so I think I will just let it be until I feel like changing it.
DAMN Pimp! Every time you make your truck sicker you make mine look so much weaker! You solid axle guys are a different breed all together. So bad, I can't let my chick see that!

Replaced a rear axle seal today and also picked up the metal for my bumper. 6"x3" 1/4" wall rectangle tube. Its going to be pretty beefy. Pics later on when I get started on it.
Nice work Apimpdad! You need to get a business started down there specializing in Tundra's!! Or make the trip over here and lets run the Rubicon!
You are right about that! I somehow find myself working on other peoples trucks more than mine, and usually for free! I am going to start charging people my time and what not, I am being taken advantage of as of lately.
I'd love to come out and run the Rubicon, but I dont think that will happen anytime soon. The Tundra needs much more stuff before I would even consider making a trip out there, like lockers, front bumper, sliders....... the list goes on.

There you go! Now get some $ together, get your materials, a shop, and open up for business. Before you know it you'll have people working under you funding your Tundra for the trip out here. Then you can be syaing this....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NisCkxU544c

haha I can only hope thats how things will be in the future, it sure would be nice.
I got the frame brackets cut out today and drilled. I will probably be able to mock it up tomorrow on the truck, but there is still a lot of work to be done. I am hoping to have it done by the middle of next week. I have the whole next week off from school
