Default Taco's ARB bull bars - frame weakness?

I ran into a couple of threads that say putting a ARB on a 2005+ will tear up the frame over time and destroy it?

I've read one post about a guy having a frame crack but that's it, what have you guys' read, found,.....

Ask at TTORA or the Yota section at PBB. Some of the older frames didn't have a good attachment point and needed some modification for a good winch point, maybe someone with a new frame can chime in regarding their perception of strength in the 05+ Tacos.

I got a bit of feedback...

It mounts with 12 bolts and should be all good. I don't think there is an issue but may have been on the older rigs.

I did call ARB and had a long talk with them, they said it was good but not to put anything like receive in it because that would change the torque angle when pulling from the side and the bumper wouldn't take that. It will take it if the pressure point is on the bumper but if I ever got in a ditch and cross pulled it could really mess it up. huh.. Ok.

Pretty cool thing is that they made the bumper for critter torso deflection as much as for winching. That's really what I want, I'm not a big time mud poodle runner, or rock crawler. I do go in places back in the mountains that would turn my wifes hair gray, and I'm not afraid of snow so a ARB rig makes alot of sense. Especially with all the deer around where I live.

Had my ARB on over a year now, many miles and many pulls without problems
