WHAT !!!!!! The F**kin clock won't keep the correct time? I have Hired FLAVOR FLAV to ride in the passenger seat to keep the correct times in London, Tokyo, and Houston, TX. It cost me an extra $1k a month. THANKS A LOT TOYOTA.
Tire sensors went off today and couldn't reset them so I took off the tires and put her up on blocks in the front yard. Wife says it makes a great planter!!!

That's fricken great. Just the tires, did you leave the wheels on? You have a single or a double wide?

on my way to work I noticed that my check engine light was flashing. I thought HMMMM that is a new one (wink wink) when I got to work the light was still flashing. Being a mechanic I know they aren't supposed to flash in this manor. I noticed it was a rythmic flashing not just on-off like a blinking street light. So I began to think what in the world is this. I only drove 4 miles and it was fine when I left. Then I realised it wasn't just a random pattern. Holy crap it was morse code for SOS. WTF?!?!?!?!? My truck was flashing me the sos. has anyone seen this??? I hope its not serious. Maybe all the problems from the first post are going to attack at the same time according to the time keeper clock.

I was going to give mine away as well, to ashamed to even try and claim a tax write off. Then I remember that the gas cap door is plastic, what a fire hazard oh the lawsuit, instead tommorow I am of to find out how much to have it crushed. If only I had read TS, before I bought.

Worst part about that is having to be reminded constantly of the new Tundra woes when you water the wife's flowers. There is no justice.

I almost left this forum because of all the bashing and negative crap - I live with a wife that absolutely hates my DC and crashed into her truck to make sure the Tundra could take it...my truck survived with a minor scratch, but her truck now is in the shop with a dented rear end. When I camp, the vultures come and land on it, luckily it's not black or I'd have to wash it and dry it over the campfire...my sphincter tightens everytime I hook my 6000 lbs trailer to it, I'm surprised it will tow it out of the yard without the tranny falling out or engine blowing up. Luckily it was made in Dec - not Feb. I don't even want to talk about the hassle people give me in the campgrounds.....one guy came over and had his dog pee on it.
Looks like the only smart thing to do is get rid of the Tundra. Sure it has given me no problems. There are just too many problems with others. I cannot sleep at night thinking about the following:
The tailgate might not open
The cam might go
The bed might bounce more then a Ford
The leaf spring bolts are too small
Toyota has not released a commercial showing the Tundra hanging from a bed bolt.
The clock might lose time
The oil change has that damn protective shield that I have to remove and a different than the normal filter setup
The rear end might make noise
The Texas rims are out of balance
The gas gauge is not exact
The ABS works like it should
The hubs only have 5 lugs!!
The dash lights might go nuts when I add aftermarket stuff to the truck
The seatbelt buzzer.. nuff said
The stereo might eat my cd's and never work again
The keyfob might not work after I wash my truck
And I learned all of this on the internet, on tundrasolutions.com's Tundra section. In the first 3-4 pages!!
When will it end?
I miss the old TS
ah dude your missing the fun part Casey Jones LOL LOL.Yea the fun part of ownership on the 2007 Tundra is reading all the Complaints Hell I hate to see Toyota warranty department and read into the complaints there I'm sure it might fill pages up LOL..
I filled all mine with "Great Stuff" expanding foam insulation, then re-set the sensors.
That's one approach, but I prefer just taking the sensors, valve stems, the whole lot, out of the wheel. Between this, and drilling a hole in the wheel to add a 6th lugnut, the bed bouncing has dropped off a lot (well, it doesn't fall off so much anymore at least).
I kept the sensor in the dash and used it and the now-defunct tire sensors to help keep track of my camshafts (one sensor per cam). The sensors were a tight fit and required some jbweld modification to the cam followers, but I already had that $%#@ skid plate off to replace the toilet paper in the oil filter, so I figured "what the hey..."
