Smile cry babies

i think this should be said and i'm saying it, the intentions of this open forum was to share pertinant infomation with other members that share a common interest that include; selling, trading, sharing experiences, being a information source for those who need it, now the forum has been invaded by trolls, plants , spies, you name it. the negative crapola is starting to dominate the forum, while administrators are having coffee, we are left to scrolls through all the negative crap just to read a meaningful threads. there are a lot of cancers on this forum in the way of negative threads that continue to crop up, even from so call members, go figure. some of these so call members act like they have never owned a new truck, in this case the first year. maybe it's just me, but when i buy something and it's not doing as advertised, i promptly take it back to the retailer and try to get answers, it makes no sense for me to go to my wife and say why is this rattling, she's going to say i'm not a mechanic take it the dealer. feeding the cancer is members who buy into unproven fact and scratch their head of forum because of their insecurity within. some members enjoy seeing a bad situation get worse, they join in the frenzy not knowing the facts, just that it gets their harmones cooking. you guys with tundra trucks should handle your business like mature men. there are negative threads on forum against the tundra, don't buy into them(cancer), don't use the forum to vent all your negative experiences, if guys would deal with their problems at home, or at the dealships, the forum would not become a place of dispare.

I couldn't agree more! I work with all women and they don't whine nearly as much as some do on this forum. Shut up and go back to the dealer is the right way to handle complaints.

I have 3500 miles on my Tundra (that is the real name of it) and I am getting ready to tow my travel trailer 3K miles. I couldn't feel more secure and confident in my truck. This truck runs better, rides better and tows better than anything I have ever owned.

Stop the whining now!

There are far better answers to be found here than at a dealership. What do you think they do at the service dept of a dealesrhip anyway? Sit around and troubleshoot the issue based on the latest technical information from around the country? I'm sure it's like "order a new one and call the customer when it's ready" If you are looking for answers at a dealership then you must have far more patience than I do.

Whats wrong with expressing concern for your new very expensive Toy that has broken on you? It is like this on every forum for every make with the tundra being a new platform I think everyone is still feeling it out no big deal.
Don't take this the wrong way but, its guys like you that come across as negative you don't want to help anyone just complain about them complaining so much. I mean let the bugs get worked out already so no one else has to deal with these probs. IMO that is what an open forum is for .

+1. The crybabies are the ones that can't handle seeing anything negative posted about their new truck.

Forum Police to the rescue!!!! Isn't this a "crybaby" thread just by it's nature. That is like starting a thread that reads "I hate when people make threads that I don't like". Trolls do suck though.

I am an honest Toyota Tundra owner with a bad tranny, still sitting at the shop. Toyota is dragging their feet with me. I am not bagging on Toyota, but am frustrated with them right now. People should know about this stuff. I know there are idiots on this site, but you have to use your best judgement to filter them out. I have always loved Toyotas, but am upset because I can't use my 35K 07 5.7 Tundra right now. So just deal with the site, and take advantage of the "Good and the Bad".

I see the rest of y'all's point too, but I'm going to back up Firecrew on this one. There is a lot of whining, and quite often the same topic is whined about in multiple threads, and folks are quick to make assumptions and this placebo effect occurs and all of the sudden they start feeling bed bounce or something when it was never an issue for them before.
Is some negativity expected? of course! nothing is perfect! But at the same time, it has gotten out of control.
I used to make useful and meangful posts and threads, but now I just stop by quickly, try to wade through the BS and move on. Why? Because there is little worth contributing to.

I'm blunt, and I call it like I see it without BS. Go ahead and flame me and call me a crybaby if you want, but you can also kiss my butt.

May I make a suggestion, don't open up threads that you are not interested in. .... Nobody is forcing you to read them ...

All kidding aside, I really don't think people voicing concerns about their large investment, is a bad thing...

Heck, if it were not for this forum, I would have believed the dealer when he told me, "yours is the only one that this has happened to" ...

Folks like you with real issues, and real concerns, I have no problem with. I don't consider your posts whining, because your negative experience is founded.

You guys have to remeber that forums are an addiction and they effect everyone differently. Nobody wants to open up the page to see 5 posts about bad trannies and bouncing beds, but at the same time you also get tired of reading threads about how much someone has hauled or how fast your truck is leaving a stoplight. You have to take the good with the bad. Most people here just want to talk trucks, myself included. The "negative" threads make for better discussion than the "my truck is so fast" threads just because there is an element of the unknown and someone is either seeking advice or looking for support. These are the types of threads that draw people in, and they should, that's what forums are here for. Useful info can be found there, whereas a thread about a stoplight kill is pretty useless. JMO.

My experienc on this site over the last 4 days has been positive. Even though I have been complaining about my situation, I have learned that others are in the same boat. My 3-year old can give me more information on my Tundra problem right now than the toyota dealer I am having to deal with. People on Tundra Solutions have been very supportive, and informative. Sites like this give us something the dealers cant; real time perspective!! To the idiots and trolls, I think I hear your mommy calling.

Yup, I agree with Firecrew, it's getting pretty hard to figure out who actually has a "REAL" problem.

There is alot of....
"I have a bad transmission"....hey, mine feels funny too, maybe mine is bad.
"I have a loose vent", hey, mine is kind of loose too.
"When I drive over a bumpy road, my bed bounces", wow, mine too.
"I pulled off my steering wheel", yeah, I did that the other day too.
