Cool Chicago Auto Show...Tundra double cab unveiling!

I don't get here often enough but when I had a good piece of info, I thought I'd bring it here.

The Tundra Double-Cab will be on display at the Chicago Auto Show. The show opens February 14th at McCormick Place South.

Sorry, no more info than that.

I like that FJ Crusier! But do you think they could find a bigger FJ badge for the rear? That one is way to small

I think that's where the license plate goes
That thing has got to have one heck of a blind spot.

Default Spied...Tundra Crew Cab

I don't know if this is "old news" or not, but I found this spy picture of the upcoming crew cab Tundra.

Yep that one is already posted in a couple of other threads, but thanks for giving us the heads up. One of these days we will get some additional pics leaked out that we can check out. Maybe at the Chicago Auto Show coming up. Thanks.

I sure wished Toyota would build something similar to that FJ Cruiser concept vehicle. Need something to compete with a Jeep wrangler type off-road vehicle.

Hummer H2 + Mini Cooper = Toyota FJ Cruiser

BTW - My Bro just got an H2 and I saw it last week, so I got to really check it out - here it is:

http://photoshopwebmagic.com/stuff/Hummer.jpg

Other than the shear bulk, obnoxious gee-gaws and gadgets and ridiculous curb weight... ah... I really think its a cool waste of $60K+/- ...and I was happy to learn that I still had 2" more ground clearance than he did!

Don't ask me why he had to have it -

Jeff

Default What kind of tires are those?

Man, those tires sure look agressive (on the FJ). Does anyone know what brand they might be? I don't think they would do too well on the street, but if you wanted the ultimate mod for show, that'd be it.

Those tires are probably special cut just for the car. That is pretty common on concept vehicles. I remember some dodge concept that had flame licks for the tire tread. It looked pretty sweet. I'll bet those tires are pretty noisy, and probably would not be very good at some stuff (rain or snow driving come to mine).
