Yeah, me too. It's hard to replace a dog food designer. Leaves an empty space.
His GF's car probably broke down in Oklahoma or something.

I've seen pics of his farm, they have a John Deere.
Not fancy, roof but no windows.
I wonder if you can get more top speed from a CVT. I managed 26 mph today.
Is it faster to start from a dead stop in E, then upshift to F, or start in F feathering the gas? 0-26mph times...

I asked him his route, but he didn't respond.
I used mapquest, looks like he gets to drive through the center of Texas.

Yep, broke down for sure. Texas eats cars.

Well, the car started its life in Arizona, its probably used to brutal conditions.

OK, then they're shacked up at Bubba's Armadillo Inn somewhere in central Texas. Making up for all that time apart.

Naw, I'm kidding. Moving is a pain. He's probably just busy as heck.
A million things to do and to go wrong.
Hope it's going well, Woody.

The only thing that worries me about his absence, is the last time he was gone for this long, he did not come back with good news at all.
Hope it's different this time, and just getting reacquainted with the GF.

He's probably think about all kinds of things on this drive.
By the time he gets back, he will have plans for solar power on his new house, have created a new tool to measure dog food pellets, maybe a cure for cancer.
Weird things go through your mind when you are on a long trip with a woman, a kid, a pet and a buncha crap in tow.

Woody - probably undercover with the DEA or Home Land Security infiltrating fake cowboy bars to see if all the people saying they are cowboys are really cowboys.
I agree, I tend to sandbag (just look - I like to watch) around here but without Woody it seems a tad boring.
