This is a discussion thread titled "Reservations with Frontier Airlines?", within the Off-Topic forum, part of the General Forums category.
I'm planning a trip out to STL, MO this September to attend my brother's wedding and currently Frontier has the best prices for the flights I want. Since they recently filed for bankruptcy, should I be concerned of the possibility they may go out of business this summer similar to what's been happening with some of the smaller airlines? I'm not concerned about getting a refund since my credit card will cover that. I'm more concerned about having to scramble to find another carrier to get replacement tickets and then getting hit with much higher fairs. Anyone else having similar concerns or have recommendations? Thanks.
ditto above, Frontier is fine, and a GREAT airline to fly on.

Song was the Delta express hopper....like Ted....the were supposed to cater to the Jet Blue crowd...no dice.
Vermacelli, DFW has the WORST restaurant selection...IAD is right there with them though. Those are the two worst airports to be layed over or delayed in. I'll take ATL or Denver for a delay.

Tell me about it, in February I was delayed at DFW for over 7 hours. Ended up eating a late lunch then late dinner and walked around the entire airport 4 times just to cure boredom. I'm just glad I only fly for leisure once or twice a year and not routinely like many business travelers.
I've flown on Frontier and they are great. They have one of the best on-time and not-losing-your-luggage records in the industry. And I love their planes with the animals on the tail-section.
All a man really needs for happiness in this world is a good woman, a faithful dog, and a big-a$$ed set of tires on his truck.

h plane/animal has a name too, and the stewardess introduces by saying something like "Thank you for flying with Gussy the goose today"...I'm sure it doesn't sound that lame, because it's actually kinda a cool concept.

Their slogan is "We're a whole different animal" which is why each plane has, well, a different animal.
Here's some cool stuff from their web page. Check out the commercials.
