Default Sold my tundra....

well its gone. Traded it in. Got 12000 for trade in for it, which i guess isn't bad in the current market. My new truck is a 2006 chevy silverado. Only has 17k miles on it. I knew the owner of it and he had traded it in for a new one so i went and bought it.

its a 2006 1500 5.3, 4x4 (not Z71 even though it has all the z71 features but it doesn't have the electronic 4wd buttons, its got the lever on the floor which i like better anyway) 4.10 gears, rear locker.

i wish i still i could have gotten my diesel, but hell im not paying 4.75 a gallon.
I'll get some pics of it up sometime, so far im happy with it, has the same power mine did if not alittle better down low.

Plan on getting a custom blackbear peformance tune, cherry bomb exhaust and then save up for a magnacharger or vortech supercharger. Plan on lifting it 4-6" also. I just never felt like dumping money into my truck since it was getting older. Now i have a new start.

Thanks to everyone who did help me out while on the site!

Also, don't start a stupid *** flame war, im just posting my new purchase and saying goodbye. I might lurk around the off topic still a few times.

12k isn't bad for a trade. My next truck is probably going to be a chevy/gm 3/4 ton with a diesel, and 4wd. I like the newer chevy trucks, I'm just reluctant to give up my tundra as it has been so reliable since i got it.

Hey Jetes, can you throw out some details for your truck? I'm trying to move mine & would be interested how it compares to yours.

Thanks & congrats on your new purchase!

Good deal with the locker and the gearing...sounds like it'll work out well since I know you're gonna use it like a truck!
