Re: Making skid marks in front of a cop is a bad idea.
He should be charged with assault! Sure, it was just "gas" but what if it wasn't just a fart but.....solids.
Then what?
Let's say he had Burritos and Corn that night, along with mass quanities of Bud Light.
I think Tinkerbell ought to chime in on this one.

Never trust a fart!
I never thought of this as a danger to law enforcement......until now.....

Im pretty sure he would say that is just a job hazard...in his line of work, you expect to come across weirdos and you can only hope the worst thing that happens is that a guy rips one because hes drunk. So whats next...when he throws up in your patrol car...is that a crime (that is actually bodily fluids)?

Slidding a chair over, lifting a leg and farting on the officer is alot different than the perp throwing up by accident in the back of the squad car. Now if you are talking to someone and he walks up to your or gets closer and barfs on your face/chest when their were other options such as barfing ont he grass I would say that shows intent just like the fart.
Now I will say this is border line assault and I am more inclined to think its not. In my mind I think the evidence goes against the perp because it shows a possible level of intoxication for later court proceedings. I mean who in their right mind would go and fart on a police officer.
Re: Making skid marks in front of a cop is a bad idea.
If anyone out there is married to a female cop, I would think twice about giving her the Dutch oven treatment. You could get a lot more than an elbow to the ribs.
