That is typical in weight loss efforts. It is called "hitting a plateau" and is completely normal.
Just keep doing what you are doing, and in a couple weeks your body will condition itself to where you are now, and you'll start losing again.
Just don't give up and lose heart. Keep being a good girl with your diet, and you'll soon start losing again.
Thanks CB... I'm not giving up, trust me. I've lost too much to give up now...

When I was dieting, I would tend to eat a lot of salads and drink a lot of water. I lost about 20 lbs in 4 months. I tried to stay away from pizza, french fries, Chinese food. But its all a mental thing. Sometimes you overeat because your upset or something else. As soon as I lost that 20lbs I gained it right back and then some. Now I need to do something about it again. One diet pill that did work for my girlfriend was ALLI. But the problem is that you tend to crap a lot sometimes near misses to the bathroom. She lost about 10lbs within 2 weeks but it was mostly water weight. She did gain that weight back too.
When I was on Weight Watchers a few years ago my counselor said that sometimes when you hit a plateau if you indulge just one time with something you are not supposed to eat (pizza, donuts, big fat bacon cheeseburger, etc.) you can "kick start" your body into begin losing weight again buy stimulating whatever it is that makes you lose weight.
Obviously you should not overdo it and do it only one time. You might temporarily gain a pound, but the weight loss should start up again.

Thanks Benny... I'm so close to weighing less then my mom and I haven't been less then her in years, so I'm not giving up yet...

Keep it up! Or down, as the case may be.
I try not to indulge because if I do one time then I want it more....so it's easier for me to just stay away from it.

Weight loss is a lifestyle change, not just diet and lose it and then go back to eating like you were. I have figured this out and I plan to keep my lifestyle as close to the same as possible. ALLI didn't work for me. And I refuse to gain my weight back, so I'll do whatever I have to do to keep it off...
